Switching Sectors, Seeking Job Security
72% of British private sector employees said in December that they were more
willing to consider switching to the public sector now than a year ago. 54%
would take a pay cut in exchange for greater job security. Other reasons given
for dreaming of government work? A desire for better work-life balance and
better benefits.
